Alethea Kontis is an sf author, a fannish essayist and blogger, a buyer at Ingram Book Company, a contributing editor for Apex Science Fiction and Horror Digest, and a freelance editor for Solaris Books UK. The Elemental anthology she edited with Steven Savile was a fundraiser for the victims of the tsunami of 2004; all publisher and author profits were earmarked for the Save the Children Tsunami Relief Fund. She lives in Tennessee.
